What is Restylane®?

Restylane® is made of hyaluronic acid, a substance that already exists in the body. Non animal derived, Restylane® is completely biocompatible with human hyaluronic acid. Unlike rooster-derived hyaluronic acid and bovine-derived collagen, Restylane® is free from animal proteins and limits the possibility of allergic reactions to the treatment.

What is Perlane?

Perlane is part of the Restylane family of products. Perlane is a cosmetic dermal filler that replaces lost volume and restores youthful contours to the skin to smooth away moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds). In the human body natural hyaluronic acid provides volumes and fullness to the skin, but it diminishes with age. Perlane is made from hyaluronic acid that has been modified slightly to last longer than the body's own hyaluronic acid.
